God of Grace and God of Glory, we thank you for sending your Holy Spirit upon the Church
so that she may become an instrument to free people from ungodliness, slavery of sin and the
powers of darkness. Have mercy on us and empower us with the Holy Spirit that we will be
liberated and will become a new community to fulfil the mission of our Lord Jesus Christ
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit one God world without end. Amen.

Almighty God, we rejoice in the richness of Your creation. In Your creation we see Your
glory, Your coming to us and the sign of Your abiding presence with us. Help us to nurture
your creation so that we may use everything You have given us for Your glory; through Jesus
Christ our Lord before whom You placed all the power of Your created world, and who now
lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, world without end. Amen.
